Evil Glue


Like most people, I get tired of spam. But admit it, sometimes they’re funny – you have to look past the annoyance and see the humor. This morning I got this one:

Subject: Be leaner and Slimmer by Next Week
From: Epoxying F. Deviltry

Understand, I’m tall and rail-like. Have been all my life. I could stand to shave a few pounds (think small beer ponch), but I’m basically pretty lean. If I got any leaner or slimmer I’d blow away. And what’s up with "Epoxying F. Deviltry?" Wow! haven’t heard from him (or her?) in awhile. Man, I can’t wait to catch up! See what old Deviltry has been up to.

I know it’s spam. I know it’s dumb. But funny this morning . . . at least to me.

Oskar Walks!!!


Something clicked over the weekend . . .

After months and months of tearing around the house behind a push cart and simple signing without much response, Oskar began walking, began signing back to us, even began putting wooden puzzle pieces back correctly. WOW! It seems he’s hit a developmental stride. Tonight we go to his first swimming lesson. GAME ON!

The Good and The Bad


The good news is I finally took some pics of the newish Hankster and updated things on the site. Check out the freshly posted NEW! Hankster page. They are sweeeeeeeeeeet!!

The bad news is I’m already out of XLs – the next batch should be available mid-April. Pretty good stock in the other sizes. Rumor has it they’re running on the small side, thus the unexpected hit in the XL department. If you want to put in a backorder, go ahead and order it through the site (it will allow you to select the X-Large option) and put in the comments field in big bold letters BACKORDER PLEASE. It's not a "live" transaction, so you're card will not be charged until it ships. I'll shoot you an email when they become available, just to make sure you're still on board.

I also dropped the price of the old Hankster to a respectable $95.00. Only SM and MD available there and mostly green, with just a few black SMs - which should go relatively quick. Check the description on the new one to see just how the new and old differ.

Lastly, I dropped the price another notch on the Sinister Vest to a measly $45.00. Only MD – XL there and just a couple in each size left. These are down from their original price of $150.00 . . . at that low low low price, you can’t afford not to buy one!!

Help Clark


This is a remarkably sad story. In about a year’s time Clark Metcalfe was hit by a motorist on two separate occasions (most recently on Jan. 23, 2006 - a hit and run) while riding his bike in San Diego, CA. He’s a bike industry guy and lifelong competitive cyclist. Due to injuries he’s sustained from this latest incident, it’s not known if he’ll ever ride a bike again.
